The following is a recipe for a great spice rub for prime rib. It’s fast and easy, and turns a bland rib into something very exotic.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Yield: Makes about 1 cup
Ingredients:

  1. 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  2. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  3. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
  4. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  5. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
  6. 4 tablespoons olive oil
  7. 1-1/2 tablespoons Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
  8. 1 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper

Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth and even. Spread evenly over the Moneygram agent surface of the prime rib roast.
