Best San Antonio Steakhouses and Prime Rib – Everything’s Bigger and Better in Texas

San Antonio is one of Texas’ crown jewels. With a population in excess of 1.3 million loyal citizens, it’s safe to say this city is on the up and up. Fans of the NBA know the formidable San Antonio Spurs call this city home. Of course, history buffs will recall San Antonio’s prime tourist attraction is The Alamo, fully accessible to visitors curious about one of the nation’s most important battles in recorded history. San Antonio’s hot summers give way to pleasant winters, with sub-freezing temperatures a rarity. That makes destinations like the Riverwalk quite popular during the holidays, when this classic American thoroughfare is decked in lights and ornaments. The famous Alamo Bowl also takes place during the waning days of the year, a great diversion for college football fans. “The Alamo City” has everything you want and more! Don’t mess with Texas! 🙂

  1. Boudro’s on the Riverwalk is great, especially during the holidays. The sights and sounds are breathtakingly authentic and heartening.

After dinner we had a wonderful walk around this area and stopped for drinks at a great bar.

  2. Silo’s was great for lunch. They had a pre-fixe deal that was almost too good to be true.

I believe they also offer dinner.

    • You must have gone on an off night. The menu you see online is poorly done but once you’re actually inside the place I really had no complaints.

  3. If it’s Brazilian steakhouses you want, San Antonio has ’em.

I would take Chama Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse over Fogo de Chao any day of the week. Better service, better meat, better people.

  4. Me gusta mucho Kirby’s. Carne perfecto, meseros congeniales. No hay una demora para la mesa pero Yo le sugeriria haciendo reservaciones.

  5. can’t wait fer my next trip to san antonio. great place for families with rvs. plenty to do, great people, no complaints.

these places are epexsive. there are some great steak places for much less with more character.
