  1. Hi-Country’s rub is the best bar none for anyone who hunts for their food. I added it to venison and the taste was phenomenal.

    I can’t report about how it does with frozen meats since I only hunt occasionally, however my friends tell me it does the job and then some.

    • Ha, I noticed that, too. Hopefully it went to the table in small portions.

      Most rubs contain salt already, so adding extra salt is overkill.

  2. Lindberg-Sniders is indeed fabulous on a porterhouse steak. Haven’t tried it yet with anything else. It adds a great flavor that will wow anyone with a refined palate.

  3. I’m not sold on Carl’s. I prefer purely organic rubs. If none of these are up to snuff, I’ll make my own, damn it!
